Covid Wedding Portraits | Lake Ontario Park | Stephany + Dan

Covid rocked everyone’s world to say the least but don’t worry, there’s no rant coming here! Stephany and Dan got married back in December with a very small ceremony and just a couple of guests when Covid numbers were up and gathering restrictions were very limiting. It was cold, as would be expected during a Canadian December, so they decided to not even bother braving the weather for photos. They enjoyed their day and committed to doing photos later on in the summer when the weather was a little more, shall we say, pleasant!

So that brings us to now and this gorgeous set of photos! Stephany and Dan got back into their wedding attire and we strolled the Lake Ontario shoreline to make some wedding portraits. Short of a wicked thunderstorm that chased us away from the lake for about 30 minutes, everything was perfect. No rush, as would be typical on a wedding day, to get back for dinner and no guests waiting back at the reception. What a fun experience!

So, are Covid wedding portraits going to be the next big trend? In what’s been a year of disappointment after disappointment, don’t be disappointed in your wedding photos just because you had a small wedding!
