Fort Henry Wedding | YGK | Kaitlyn + Jesse

Fort Henry. Great Hall. National historic site with that modern glass building at the top of the hill…whatever you want to call it, it is a killer venue and the people who choose to celebrate there always seem to be so rad! Enter Kaitlyn and Jesse. (Yes, they played Jesse’s girl after the ceremony) Now that I’ve cleared the air, let’s get on with how spectacular that blue sky was all day long during this early September wedding! They chose to do their ceremony at the top of the hill overlooking the Kingston skyline and then mosey around the fort for portraits inside the historic limestone walls and alleyways. Hard to mess it up, especially with a couple who clearly have a strong connection with each other. When you look at their photos, it’s like I wasn’t there and that’s just how I like it!

Back at the great hall, we spent an evening moving back and forth between the patio and the hall enjoying good food and entertainment at the mic. But yes, Covid still exists. With that, NO DANCING! No matter, Kaitlyn and Jesse took their parents to the patio for a moonlit formal dance and it was really just lovely!
