As with most weddings hosted in 2020, this Frontenac Inn Wedding was a re-planned, re-planned, re-planned wedding. The silver lining? Pretty much every couple I have talked to, although bummed about the process and having to chop the guest list, have been soooo happy with their small weddings. Is it a trend that will continue beyond the pandemic? I don’t know. But, at the very least it has taught the world that small is ok!
Jessica and Andrew chose the Frontenac Club Inn to host their immediate family in the boutique hotel’s guest rooms as well as their beautiful rooftop ceremony. They had their first look in the gorgeous quad and after a couple of spins to check each other out, we hopped in cars and headed to Queen’s campus for some portraits. We hit a few spots and then boogied back over to the Frontenac Club for the ceremony. Officiated by Peter Norman, their touching Humanist ceremony being live-streamed on zoom featured all the goods, lakeviews, blue skies and happy crying. Followed up by some cultural traditions welcoming each other to their respective new families and a picture perfect first dance (shhh, no dancing allowed during covid) they set off for dinner at Aqua Terra and I made it home to my own kids for dinner and bed time routine. Just like that, another perfect Frontenac Inn Wedding. Congratulations to the happy couple and their families!
