NeXT Restaurant Wedding | Jamie + Cengiz

Jamie and Cengiz chose a NeXT Restaurant wedding. A place that caters family style meals, so fitting for such a family oriented couple. The feeling of family presence throughout the day was overwhelming. You could feel the closeness and connection the couple had with their families. The candid interaction and laughter they shared was as obvious as the purposeful rounds they made during meal time, ensuring they talked with the guests at every table. They also chose to have their wedding on Thanksgiving weekend, a holiday so closely tied to family values. I was so honoured to have been welcomed into their families for the day to celebrate with them and experience their joy. My job, as I see it, is to translate that joy into still images. Thankfully, a very expressive couple, they made that easy for me! I watched, snapped and continued stalking their moves, waiting for the next outbursting of massive smiles, big hugs and laughing. Just lots of laughing. Good times!
