All good things start with beer. OK, that’s probably not entirely true but this engagement session in Toronto’s Queens Quay certainly did! Drew and Connor enjoy beer, tour breweries when on vacation and wanted to do something out of the box for their engagement photos. So, to Amsterdam Brewhouse we went! If you haven’t been, check it out next time you’re in the big city. It’s a big bar built around it’s own micro-brewery which even hosts tours. There were no tours on the day we went, but the staff was kind enough to let us in behind closed doors to do some photos amongst the kilns and other craft beer making paraphernalia. A beer snob myself, I was in heaven!
After a couple pints and a few laughs, we toured the area surrounding the pub for a few more portraits. As if the beer theme wasn’t good enough, we were then blessed with a multitude of awesome backdrops including the CN Tower, tall ships and late afternoon sun over Lake Ontario…and a few passers-by wondering what the hell we were doing! It was a super fun time and I can’t wait for their destination wedding coming up this summer. Stay tuned!
