Having photographed over 200 weddings, it’s hard to believe that I’ve never shot a Spindle Tree Manor Wedding! It was worth the wait, what a gem of a venue. Like seriously…the gardens. The vast, meandering countryside property. The buildings. And, textures on textures on textures. What a joy to it was to put Elena, Andrew and their gathering of friends and family in front of all of it! With CC Weddings and Events there to keep everything on point throughout the day, we enjoyed a mellow pace from prep all the way through to the party. Nothing was rushed, nothing was forced. Early on in the planning stages of weddings I always coach my couples to never do anything for the pictures, just enjoy your day and I’ll photograph what’s happening. That’s very much what they did and as a result it was just a lovely day and now they have a collection of photos that will help them “remember how it felt,” my motto, MO, tagline.
Classically trained musicians, they were not about to throw a spotify play list on shuffle, no that simply would not do. Live music was dappled throughout the day including some members of Orchestra Kingston playing during the ceremony and The St. Royals during the reception. Not a dull moment! Congrats Elena and Andrew, and thank you for having me along for the journey.
