Active Family Session | Scootering with the Bonfords

It’s no secret that I like to incorporate activity into my shoots. To save us all from a lifetime of boring, same-same photos, if we can toss in a little action, everything else just falls into place! This is not the first time I’ve photographed Lindsay and Alana, and it’s not the first time I’ve photographed them in action. Engagement photos on their fatbikes, Alana’s maternity photos on SUPs and now Lindsay’s maternity photos on scooters. Can I get a heck yaaaa?! Having their first born daughter, Maisie, on the set, it was not only active maternity photos it was also an active family session. Let me tell you, Maisie likes to move! I chased her around with my camera until she got chilled and then had the opportunity to snag a few photos of just the Mammas.

Anytime I hear from the Bonford family, I know I’m in for a good time and some super fun photos. This being the fourth shoot I’ve done with them, all I can say is that it’s truly an honour to continue to document their lives and growing family. Next time I see them, it’ll be a whole new ball game as they add a fourth girl into the mix! Their poor dog Spencer is now truly outnumbered!
